Welcome to my website!

This is my little corner of the writing world. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a writer of uplifting and heartwarming fiction. My favourite stories include love, friendship and second chances, with cosy village settings, animals, and a sprinkling of humour.

I love the idea that a good book can offer a little escape from the everyday. Somewhere to disappear for a while, fall in love with new characters, laugh with them and cheer them on as they head off on a journey that perhaps they weren’t expecting. And if a story leaves you feeling a little more hopeful than before you picked it up, that’s even better.

I've published two novels so far, The Book Lover's Bucket List and Until the Next Letter, and I'm working on more stories that I hope will bring readers that same sense of warmth and cosy escapism.

But this website isn't just about the finished books. It's also about everything that happens along the way.

Writing a novel is a curious thing, for me at least. I start with an idea, fall in love with a handful of imaginary people then spend the rest of the writing process trying to get them to do as they’re told. Meanwhile, my characters get busy having opinions and deciding to do things their own way, ignoring the plans I’ve made for them.

So, I thought it would be good to share a little more of that process here. You'll find behind-the-scenes glimpses, reflections on writing, and conversations with other authors about their advice and experiences. I'll also share some of the things that inspire my stories, from the places around me to the little dreams and thoughts that somehow find their way into the books.

And, of course, there'll be updates on what I'm writing next.

Whether you're a reader who loves a heartwarming and cosy escape, a fellow writer navigating the ups and downs of the author life, or someone else entirely, I hope you'll find something here to enjoy.

Thank you for stopping by. Put the kettle on, make yourself comfortable, and have a read.

I'm looking forward to sharing more bookish love with you.

Happy reading!
